Wireless peripherals through KVM don’t work correctly

I bought the UGREEN usb 2.0 switch selector to switch my peripherals between my work laptop and my personal desktop pc. It works great with my wired keyboard, but my wireless mouse and wireless headset (razer barracuda X) don’t work correctly. My mouse works but won’t charge and the headset doesn’t work at all, not even when connecting the kvm to a power source. I have tried connecting the headset only and it didn’t work either.

Will it work if I get the usb 3.0 version? Or should I get a docking station instead and make the switch by unplugging and replugging the host cable between pc’s?
