different processes on different ips linux

Issue

This Content is from Stack Overflow. Question asked by Adam Beijar

So I have a server running Ubuntu and I would want to to have two different processes running on different ips on it for example:

One process with ip 192.168.1.234 that I can put in my browser and access and another process with ip 192.168.1.235.

So could I somehow have two VMs on my server running two different ips that I could use for running my processes on, is that done with docker?

I am quite new to stuff like this, so please try to dumb down your suggestions
